Privacy Policy

Effective date: 15 June 2026 App: Pet Health Diary ("the App") Provider: Altaris Group Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), Australia Contact: [email protected]

We built Pet Health Diary to help you keep a private health record for your pets. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address (or, if you use Sign in with Apple, the identifier and optional relay email Apple provides).

Pet and health records you enter. The pets you add and everything you log — meals and ingredients, water, litter/elimination, symptoms, medications, weight and measurements, notes, and any photos you attach. This is your content; you control it.

Purchase information. If you subscribe, your purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive whether your subscription is active and related identifiers — not your full payment card details.

Limited technical data. Basic information needed to operate and secure the service (e.g. app version, device type, and diagnostic/crash information). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.

AI features

If you use an AI feature (such as an AI photo check), the relevant content (e.g. a photo and your question) is sent securely to our processing service and our AI provider solely to generate the observation you requested. AI output is informational only and is not veterinary advice. We do not use your content to train third-party models.

Where your data is stored

Your records are stored in your account in our cloud database (hosted on Supabase) and cached on your device. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Account and payment handling rely on Apple. Some providers may process data outside Australia; we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.

Sharing with household members

If you invite people to your household, the pet records in that household are visible to those members so you can care for your pets together. Only invite people you trust.
